"I'm looking for Charity Rose, John Two Hawks, Natsuko Verona, Buddy, and Rita Mae. Has anyone seen them?"

Carlton Williams does not have the same commanding voice as Sheriff Packard, but he does have a calm and placid demeanor.
"This is in the interest of law, folks. If anyone sees them, you give them word that Sheriff Plackard wants to see them in her office right quick now, ya heah?"

Dr. Fletcher brings up the rear, walking a little slower than Ms. Packard and the other deputies. He's a little too uncomfortable with his position as a deputy to confront anyone directly. Instead he glances around the center, making eye contact when he can, trying to encourage people to speak, to help out.

Carlton suddenly looks like he has a bright idea and walks away.
He returns with a badly limping Charity at his side. "I just remembered that I heard Miss Charity wasn't doing so well lately, so I I figur'd I'd help her along, Sheriff Plackard. I'll just bring Miss Charity to your office while you're waiting for everyone else?"

Terry stands in the middle of the group, perhaps even more uncomfortably than Dr. Fletcher. When it looks like no one is offering information, she turns to Molly. "Uh, sheriff, maybe we could check at these folks houses? Or wherever they're stayin'? I mean, not me, necessarily, because of, y'know, the whole..." She's rather flustered.
